| Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to ascertain the current state of knowledge concerning the exploitation of hard-rock quarry fines, and to present this information in an accessible form. To do this, the project partners carried out an extensive review of existing reports and papers, and undertook structured interviews with producers of quarry fines. This information has been used to produce this report and a relational database. There is a chapter, 8.1 Soil remineralization - fines as fertilizer, that summarizes literature on remineralization with a bibliography included. |
