How to make seed pellets with rock dust.

Clay pelleted are used when seeds are broadcasted on the surface, to avoid them to be eaten by animals, and as moisture retention under germination. Check out Masanobu Fukuoka (R.I.P.) for more details on no till graingrowing and reforestation. Mr Fukuoka used more ingredients in the clay pellets, assuring inoculation of beneficial microorganisms. I do not describe that. When you have learned to make proper pellets, you can add anything. Rhizobium for legumes, and mycorrhiza for reforesting should be considered.  I am lucky to have very fine rock dust. ...

Liquid rockdust

My pile of rockdust has got wet by rain, and doesnt want to dry up agein. The structure is so fine that it remindes of clay, and a heap of wet clay is not so easy to spread evenly on the field.   What I do, is that I mix it half and half with water, and the whole thing turns into a licquid slurry. Then I can water the plants with it. Sometimes i mix it with nettle or grass ferment instead of water if I want to give the bed an ekstra kick. The negative thing about it, is that i have to carry a lot of water with the dust, but if i  need to ...

How many cromosones my seedlings have, I do not know, and to be honest, iI dont care.    I select the potatoes in early and late, for practical reasons, but like to keep them as ...

Using mulch to get rid off perennial weeds

I have not always been so keen on mulching, because perrenial weeds as coughgrass and thistles seem to thrive very well and even spread as crazy in mulched beds.Weeding this was time consuming, and as soon as I pulled one plant, a new shoot came up right through the mulch. Digging was also not easy to do in the mulch.Add more mulch was too mulch-consuming. I don't know why i did't practice this from the start, but I ones got the idea to just lift the mulch the weeds has been growing through with a fork, and this way be ...
