Remineralize the Earth Announces:

2009 RETECH Conference

Las Vegas, NV, February 25th-27th,
Las Vegas Convention Center

RPM Ecosystems Fast-Growing Trees
The International Biochar Initiative
and Remineralize the Earth

“There is one way we could save ourselves and that is through the massive
burial of charcoal. It would mean farmers turning all their agricultural
waste – which contains carbon that the plants have spent the summer
sequestering – into non-biodegradable charcoal, and burying it in the soil.
Then you can start shifting really hefty quantities of carbon out of the
system and pull the CO2 down quite fast.”

James Lovelock in New Scientist Magazine, January 23, 2009

RPM Ecosystems fast-growing trees, the International Biochar Initiative,
and Remineralize the Earth promote the leading edge technologies to
stabilize the earth’s three major carbon sinks- oceans, soils and biomass.
Remineralization, biochar and fast-growing trees in biomass production
will revitalize the soil, strengthen wetlands, watersheds and riparian
buffers, prevent runoff into the oceans, sequester carbon and make biomass a
cornerstone of renewable energy technologies.

Remineralize the Earth’s Real Food Campaign will bring Nutrient Dense Food
to consumers, increase carbon sequestration and crop yields and transform
health care. RPM Ecosystems provides seedlings for trees and plants that
mature three times faster than most other seedlings, with great potential
for generating carbon credits.

RETECH2009 is the successor to the Washington International Renewable
Energy Conference (WIREC 2008). An essential component of this new
incarnation is DREAM at RETECH2009: President Obama has called for D
oubling Renewable Energy in AMerica in the next three years.

We are ready to engage this initiative!

Remineralize the Earth (RTE) is an international nonprofit (NGO) based in
Northampton, Massachusetts, USA that focuses on the critical role that soil
remineralization with finely ground rock dust and sea minerals plays in
agriculture by increasing the growth, health and the nutrient value of all
plant life. The ramifications are many, from reversing global
desertification through agroforestry and reforestation to producing
sustainable biofuels, sequestering carbon and stabilizing the climate.

Projects and Partnerships of Remineralize the Earth

RTE’s Agroforestry Project in Costa Rica: Food, Fuel and Income to
Sustain Local Communities
is a model project intercropped with
commercial hardwoods, fruit trees and Jatropha, which produces a sustainable
biofuel at the same time that it regenerates soils. This project is
directed by award-winning ecological designer Dr. John Todd of Ocean Arks
International (OAI).

RTE’s and OAI’s Become Carbon Neutral Program is the only program
that offsets carbon emissions through soil remineralization, greatly
enhancing growth and carbon sequestration over other programs.

RTE’s Real Food Campaign networks with and educates consumers,
retailers, farmers, scientists and policy makers by coordinating and
supporting all programs that produce healthier and more nutrient dense drops
for our food supply.

Remineralize the Earth is initiating remineralization projects worldwide
and is looking to sponsor and form partnerships with foundations and
educational institutions, sustainably committed governments, policymakers
and the international business community, and other organizations and NGOs.

Support us on Patreon
Thank you for joining us today! Please become a member of RTE and support us on Patreon. Unlike many larger organizations, we work with a team of determined and passionate volunteers to get our message out. We aim to continue to increase the awareness of remineralization to initiate projects across the globe that remineralize soils, grow nutrient dense food, regenerate our forests’ and stabilize the climate – with your help! If you can, please support us on a monthly basis from just $2, rest assured that you are making a big impact every single month in support of our mission. Thank you!
