POTENTIAL FOR USING ROCK DUST FROM SEDIMENTARY ROCKS FROM THE AMAZON BASIN IN PARÁ
The Brazilian Geological Survey (CPRM) has carried out an important study in the Amazon Basin in the state of Para, and the phosphatic sedimentary rocks in this environment could be important in the supply of nutrients to local agricultural activities. In addition, the local government has incentive programs for sustainable agriculture, that may have rock dust application as a key ally of these programs.
